MOORATHON 2026 Gets Off to a Record-Breaking Start

MOORATHON2926 collage without logos

We’ve only been on the road for a few days, but what’s been happening since we kicked things off has exceeded all our expectations. Our running shoes are on fire, our bikes haven’t stopped moving, and the counter on our platform is skyrocketing!

The latest update is enough to take our breath away for a moment: Nearly 4,000 people are already actively participating. Together, we’re currently managing to protect well over 1,000 square meters of peatland every day!

This is an incredible achievement and shows just how much power this movement has. But if we’re honest and look at our big goal: Is that enough to ultimately break the 100,000-square-meter mark?

We know there’s still room for improvement! And the race at the top of the leaderboard is really driving our motivation to astronomical heights right now.

The Race for the Top: Veterinarians, Creative Shock Absorbers, and Green Energy

Things are really heating up at the top of the standings right now—and the energy within the teams is just amazing to watch:

  • The title favorites have been revealed: Currently leading the pack is the team led by the well-known YouTube veterinarian Dr. Karim Montasser. He called on his massive community to participate last year, and that’s now paying off. Right from the start, the team has shown how important nature conservation and environmental protection are to them.
  • The sponsors are giving it their all: Our partners aren’t just participating—they’re passionate about the cause! The Entega crew is hot on the heels of the frontrunners, protecting every square meter along the way.
  • Pure creativity at Bilstein: The BILSTEIN team is currently showing how to really get people excited. With incredibly creative campaigns, they’re recruiting new athletes both internally and externally. That’s how you foster team spirit for the climate!

What’s next?

We’re just so grateful for this successful start and the tremendous energy you’re all bringing to the table. Every photo, every lap run, and every kilometer covered amid the stress of everyday life makes a real difference.

And here’s a little preview: Over the next few days, we’ll be taking a look behind the scenes and showing you which celebrities and familiar faces are secretly (or not-so-secretly) taking part in this year’s MOORATHON!

Let’s not let up. Have you logged your kilometers for today yet? And who among your friends still needs that final push to join the run?
