Mission to Marsh – The Movie

At a time when climate catastrophe is undeniable and human activity is stretching the limits of our ecosystem, peatlands offer our generation an opportunity. But what do we really know about these mysterious ecosystems? And what impact do they have on the well-being of our planet?

From the majestic marshlands to the lush mangrove forests, we explore the fascinating diversity of these ecosystems and reveal their crucial role in climate change.

But while we experience the wonders of the wetlands, we also uncover the threatening realities. We reveal the devastating effects of land use change, pollution and human greed on these fragile ecosystems. Our journey takes us to policy makers who have the power to bring about change and scientists who are working tirelessly to protect and restore wetlands.

With breathtaking footage, inspiring stories and shocking revelations, the road movie “Mission to Marsh” offers people around the world hope for a life on Earth.

Amore for the moors

The movie the moors have been waiting for. With this film, Ann Christin & Alexander kindle the love for the moors in people. It not only impressively conveys their importance, but also shows concrete steps on how we can take better action.

A great movie that has everything it needs. It tells exciting stories, appeals to emotions and, above all, is incredibly educational. Anni and Alex don’t lecture us on why bogs are important – they make us feel why the world NEEDS them – they make us feel why the world NEEDS them. Honest, approachable, credible and therefore very convincing.

I grew up in the late 80s, with parents who took me to events like Greenpeace conferences. The answers always seemed difficult, distant and intangible. For the first time, we are being offered solutions that we can implement locally – with a clear, science-based and meaningful positive outcome. Thank you, Alex and Anni!
